Sugar kelp — Saccharina latissima — is the species the whole industry is built on. It grows fast, tastes clean, and stores as a slightly sweet powder or a supple dried blade.

What we use it for
Most of the harvest is dried and milled for food and feed. The rest goes to bio-stimulants for soil and to research partners working on bioplastics.
